I believe that God created me.
I believe that God created me. There really is no reason for anything to be here (as opposed to nothing being here) unless it was created. Scientific philosophers try to come up with ways that the Universe would be forced to create itself out of nothing due to rules that are unavoidably self-generating. But they never get rid of the question of first things: why would such rules be a necessity or self-generating? Who put that prior system in place such that this one had to arise from it?
Or they say, hey, this Universe isn’t such a big deal – there could be a gazillion of them in the Multiverse. OK, let’s say that a Multiverse of very high dimensions exists. How exactly does that solve the problem of how any of those Universes got there in the first place? The answer is that it doesn’t.
Science cannot come up with a reason that the Universe exists without a cause because this idea makes no sense. The Universe is here; it had to get here somehow; and the “somehow” (or Someone) therefore is greater than the Universe itself.
If the Universe was created, then so was everything and everyone it in. I believe that God created me.
